Using this process, a preform is moulded in the machine by injecting plastic over a rod core. It’s then spun around while still hot and high-pressure air is injected through the rod core to form the moulded bottle or jar. The result is a highly precise, reliable, and cost-effective process that facilitates filling and duplicates dimensions to make every part the same, with very tight tolerances in weight variations, high accuracy of necks, tamper-seal bands, wall thickness and fill volume which can be critical in certain market sectors.
